Situato sul <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lecampoloro.com\/it\/gr20-in-corsica\/\">GR20<\/a>, la sua caratteristica forma gli ha conferito il soprannome di &#8220;mela&#8221;. \u00c8 ghiacciato almeno sei volte all&#8217;anno a causa delle sue origini glaciali. Gli escursionisti apprezzano particolarmente questo percorso, in quanto fornisce l&#8217;accesso a un incredibile belvedere. Due aree scandiscono la passeggiata: l&#8217;attraversamento del bosco di Vergio, di facile accesso e molto piacevole, e l&#8217;escursione nelle rocce pi\u00f9 complessa, ma fortunatamente pi\u00f9 breve. Culminante a 1777 metri sul livello del mare, \u00e8 raggiungibile attraverso vari sentieri escursionistici: dal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lecampoloro.com\/it\/i-piu-belli-paesi-della-corsica\/\">villaggio<\/a> de Bastelica \u00e8 la via pi\u00f9 frequentata. &#8220;Vitalaca&#8221; significa &#8220;togliere la vita&#8221; <strong>e il lago deve il suo nome alle sue acque gelide<\/strong>.
